Also, they identify a negative and reluctant attitude of some translators to such dialogue.

Cultural barriers in artistic translation. V. 3. Part. 1. Ed. Bożena Tokarz. Katowice, Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Śląskiego, 2012, 280 pp. (Bariery kulturowe w przekładzie artystycznym. T. 3. Cz. 1. Red. Bożena Tokarz. Katowice, Wydawnictwo Uniwersytetu Śląskiego, 2012, 280 s.) – The title of the third volume of the serial publication “Translations of Slavic literatures” („Przekłady Literatur Słowiańskich”) should be understood as practices and cultural habits, more or less fixed in texts that make it difficult to re-express the source text, and ipso facto, the secondary reader’s comprehension of otherness and strangeness. This situation gives rise to problems related to translation and the theory of translation. They are discussed in the volume by particular authors.

“Przekłady literatur Słowiańskich”. T. 6. Cz. 1. (Issue: 6 (1)/2015)

Wolność tłumacza wobec imperatywu tekstu

Artykuły zamieszczone w niniejszym tomie uporządkowane zostały w dwóch częściach zatytułowanych Tłumaczenie jako naśladowanie i Tekst i kultura wyjściowa w świetle kultury docelowej.

„Przekłady Literatur Słowiańskich” T. 6, część 2: Bibliografia przekładów literatur słowiańskich – 2014 rok rejestruje tłumaczenia, których ilość i wybór w zakresie autorów i konkretnych tworów charakteryzują potrzeby poznawcze i estetyczne kultur i literatur przyjmujących. Tom ten obejmuje wzajemne związki translatorskie (i nie tylko) między literaturami bułgarską, chorwacką, czeską, macedońską, serbską, słowacką i słoweńską a polską. Autorzy komentarzy próbują spojrzeć krytycznie i analitycznie na twórczość przekładową z perspektywy roli tłumacza we wzajemnych kontaktach literackich, potrzeb kultury przyjmującej przez niego reprezentowanej, instytucji uczestniczących, stopnia trudności tekstu wyjściowego.

Tłumacze i przekładoznawstwo słowiańskie
